  My two large dogs, Roman and Jemima have just returned home from a 13 month stay with Avonlea Lodge Pet Resort. I highly recommend this service, the staff are friendly, experienced and client focused. The care and consideration given to me and my dogs was exceptional. I have confidently left my dogs for short stays in the past and when I needed long term care for them, I didn't hesitate to contact this business. At no time was I concerned for my dogs welfare as any health or medical issue was dealt with by contacting me in a timely manner. Avonlea also has a local vet whom will attend the premises if necessary. I am thoroughly satisfied with the care and accommodation provided by this business. Money well spent. Kathryn Anderson

  Initially when new to the area I tried others, but now It's the only Kennel I'd leave my two big dogs with.
  Very popular, so book early.

  We left our dog Billy there & it was the first time for him in a doggy environment. He loved it. Will definitely use them in the future. Came home smelling beautiful.

  My chihuahua always seems happy when picked up. Friendly staff. Highly recommended
